A very cold and snowy day is fun when you're 3! I would rather stay inside, but then we would have missed out on these fun pictures of Avery.

Tea Party

After playing in the snow Avery and I decided the only thing to do was dress up and WARM UP with a tea party! By "tea" I of course mean hot cocoa. Avery is quite the little socialite...pinkies up! Poor little Lyla misses out on so much while she's napping. I can't wait until she's old enough for some of this princess fun.

Avery LOVES Rudolph and has become quite the expert and creating Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer works of art!

SANTA!!!!

This weekend we took the girls, to see SANTA! Avery ran right up to him, climbed on his lap and told him exactly what she wanted. I put Lyla on his lap and stayed close by and she did great, much to our surprise. We were lucky to get some great pics with the jolly old elf too! I know some people our age don't believe in Santa, but they have never met him! This guy is

December 1st? Really?

WHERE DID NOVEMBER GO? And how did you all let me get away with no posts for an entire month? November was a busy and fun month for us. I had one of the best Birthdays yet, complete with wild girls night out, I got the majority of my Christmas shopping done, Avery had pneumonia for a week :( I had a fabulous weekend in Decatur with some old girlfriends, Brian and I had a great date night, and to end the month we had the perfect Thanksgiving. Thinking back I should have taken more pictures!

TRICK OR TREAT!

It was surprisingly warm for trick or treating, so Avery decided to go as Cinderella rather than Fifi the Poodle. She had a blast going door-to-door and asked if she could go again today! She looked so beautiful in her gown & accessories, it almost brought a tear to my eye!

Library Halloween Parties

This year we took the girls to the costume carnival at Johnston library as well as to Trick or Read at Ankeny library. They had so much fun playing games, hearing stories, getting treats and seeing friends! Here are a few pics from both parties.
